Authorized Miele vacuum warranty assistance

Our authorized service-center support gives Miele vacuum owners a local place to turn for manufacturer-warranty assistance. Bring your machine, model and serial information, purchase documentation, and available warranty paperwork, and we’ll guide you through the next step.

Miele’s U.S. limited vacuum warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the product and its Miele-authorized parts. Covered repairs are free to the customer, including both parts and labor, when performed by an authorized Miele service agent.

Warranty periods by vacuum series

The following standard periods exclude HomeCare and the named independent-retailer exclusive models described below.

Extended coverage for selected models

Miele’s terms specify five full years from purchase for HomeCare sub-models, including Classic C1 HomeCare, Classic C1 PureSuction HomeCare, and Classic C1 Centennial, and for the independent-retailer exclusive Guard M1 Terra Red and Guard L1 Electro TTPF. Triflex HomeCare has three full years from purchase. Our team can help identify the warranty for your exact model.

Who and where the warranty covers

The warranty applies to the original purchaser living in the United States who purchased the vacuum from a Miele Authorized Dealer. It applies only while the product remains within the United States; Miele’s terms exclude other U.S. territories, possessions, and foreign countries.

Commercial use

Vacuums used commercially have six months of coverage from purchase, except the Scout RX1 and Scout RX2, which have no warranty when used for commercial purposes.

Coverage exclusions

Ordinary wear and tear and cosmetic damage are not considered defects in materials or workmanship. Miele’s terms also exclude damage or defects caused by unauthorized repairs, service, or alterations; negligence, accident, abuse, misuse, improper or abnormal use or maintenance; and use or installation of non-genuine Miele parts.

We assess your vacuum under the applicable manufacturer terms. For work outside coverage, we explain proposed charges and obtain your approval before proceeding. This summary concerns Miele vacuum cleaners only, not coffee machines or other appliances.
